The kids & I took a long weekend in Italy where we were lucky enough to celebrate an anniversary-slash-memorial-slash-engagement with some very dear old friends in a familiar,
happy place. Two days of relaxing, reading, swimming, sipping, chatting & dining at the Castillo Montegufoni in Tuscany & then a quick trip to Florence to see El Duomo and try the Italian gelato before heading back to Amsterdam...full of prosecco,
pasta & pizza! What a delicious weekend.
