Barcelona
A week in Barcelona was amazing during the May break. We had some very nice weather & some very nice friends who joined us in celebrating Sabrina's 13th Birthday!!
A quick visit with Elaine as she headed off to walk The Camino was also fantastic. This city celebrates beach style living adjacent to a very artistic & cosmopolitan city. Home of Antonio Gaudi, you can find his influence in the buildings &
the mosaics found on every street you pass. La Sagrada Familia was the most amazing sight, not to be missed. They plan to have the church finished by 2026. Casa Batllo and the W Hotel where we stayed were our other favorite spots.
Bryan & I (and the kids a bit too) practiced our Spanish & we felt so great being able to communicate! I think we must return to Barcelona & other parts of Spain very, very soon...
